End of Class Procedures

Please remain quiet until everyone is done with their test.

Everyone - Do the Following in Order:

  1. First, fill out the on-line evaluation form. Click here to start the survey.
  2. Read the following before you take the test. If you have any questions, please let me know when you come up to me in step I below:
  1. Create a folder on the H: drive as shown on your test. If you have problems with creating the folder, raise your hand.
  2. Save your files with the long name Course-Chapter-QtrBlock-LastnameFI-Filename. For the chapter, type F. For example if the course was Office 1 and the filename was ExcelProj1LabTestA, the long name could be O1-F-Q2B-WinterR-ExcelProj1LabTestA.
  3. When you take the test, try to do the assignments in order.
  4. You may not use another student for help, but you may use the books in the classroom or the computer help's screens.
  5. This is a timed test. You are given until the end of the period to finish. Your grade is based on how much you get done and the quality of your work.
  6. If you finish early, you may finish assignments or play games that are installed on the computer such as hearts or solitaire, but you cannot play Internet games. You must be quiet so everyone has a fair chance.
  7. If you do finish any additional assignments, print out your Assignments page again from the Goals and Effort workbook and put it in the inbox for your block.
  8. Put your copy of the test in the inbox.
  9. Now come up and tell me what class you're in and, "I've read A through I and am ready for the test."

Thank you for being my students!
