Check Assignments

Do this at the end of each chapter.

  1. Before I started the chapter did I check Class Notes (Class Page > Notes for your class)?
  2. On the bottom of all emails, type your first and last name. Don't forget the subject.
  3. Did I put the 5-part name the document correctly and check the name against the Goals&Effort Assignment sheet?
    1. For office 1 example (O1-W1-Q1C-CrowleyM-GardenClubAnnouncement.doc)
  4. Did I put in my 3-line document ID? (Name, Date, Filename)
    1. Access: File, Database Properties, Comments
    2. Word: View, Header and Footer, Switch Between Header and Footer
    3. Excel: View, Header and Footer, Custom Footer
    4. PowerPoint: First slide
    5. Flash: Modify, Document, Description
    6. Dreamweaver, HTML - bottom of page
  5. Did I save to Samba (H:), C:\LAN School Files, and one more place?
  6. Did I save in the right folder (name of class and then chapter or section)?
  7. Did I spell everything correctly (use spell check)?
  8. Did I check the final version against the picture in the book (if available)? Do print preview and check first part of chapter.
  9. If something didn't work, did I check the notes page on www.rickwinter.com > My Students (notes for class)?
  10. Did I not skip any parts?
  11. Did I type the 2nd and 3rd columns in for ChapterNotes (during first part of chapter)?
  12. Did I type the 4th column in for objectives while working on Personal Assignment?
  13. For Access - did I save all queries?
  14. Did I complete the whole chapter before moving on to the next chapter?
  15. Did I look at the Whiteboard every day?
  16. Did I complete the Goals&Effort (all sheets) every day?
  17. For Internet and Dreamweaver, did I check all hyperlinks?
