Doc ID

In chapter quality checks, you will have 3 points off for the first document without an ID and then one point for each additional document without an ID up to 5 points. If you have a partial ID you will get up to 3 points off for the document.

Summary of Assignment.
  1. Make the following documents with long filenames and DocIDs:
bulletAll classes: WordDocID and ExcelDocID
bulletOffice classes: PowerPointDocID
bulletOffice classes: AccessDocID (don't send with email)
bulletAny Flash class: FlashDocID
bulletDreamweaver class: DreamweaverDocID
bulletInternet/HTML class: TextDocID
  1. Send an email with all documents as attachments except AccessDocID.
For each document include your own information:
bulletFirstname Lastname
bulletDate
bulletLong filename
Example (use your own information):
   Rick Winter
   8/21/06
   O1-W3-Q1C-WinterR-CarterCoverLetter.doc
For this assignment, you will save the files directly in the name of your class folder (such as Office1, Office2, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc.). Do not save these files in a subfolder. Don't forget to make a backup of all these files when you are done. You will use the long filename with your class, 0 (zero) for the chapter, your quarter and block, your name, and the name of the documents. For example if your name is Daniel Winter, you are in Office 1, quarter 4, block D, and you are making the first document, your long filename would be O1-0-Q4D-WinterD-WordDocID.
