Creativity and Oral Assessment Assignment

Note: As mentioned above, you can also come in at lunch or after school to earn every point possible in this creativity assignment.

 Definition (20 points)

  1. Type Creativity Definition in your document and use a Heading 1 style to format it.
  2. Research on the Internet what creativity is.
  3. Open a Word document. Save it with the long filename for your class, but include 0 for the chapter name and Creativity as the filename. For example, Office 1, block C would be O1-0-Q4C-LastnameF-CreativityDef. (5 points)
  4. Copy and paste the URL (Web address) of where you found the information about creativity.  (1 point)
  5. Copy and paste the paragraph(s) from your Internet research about creativity. (4 points)
  6. Use the highlight tool and highlight at least 5 key words in what you copied. Note: You cannot highlight two words in a row. (5 points)
  7. Create one or more complete sentences with the words you highlighted to define creativity. (5 points)

  2. Find on the Internet or create a rubric (grade table) that tells you and me how to grade your assignment for creativity.

Oral Assessment (20 points)

  1. Type Oral Assessment Rubric in your document and use a Heading 1 style to format it.
  2. Find on the Internet or create a rubric (grade table) that tells you and me how to grade how well you communicate orally.
  3. Save your document again.
  4. Send me your CreativityDef document in an email and tell me you are ready for your oral test.
    1. Email subject: Creativity and Oral Assessment
    2. I will call you up as I get these documents and ask you to explain what creativity is and how you came up with the definition.

Creativity (50 points)

  1. For the rest of the class, create the most creative thing you can on the computer using what you’ve learned in class.
  2. Save the document with your long filename and Creativity at the end. For example, Office 1, block C would be O1-0-Q4C-LastnameF-Creativity.
