Finals! Last day!
Thank you so much for being my students. I learned a lot from you all.
You will have a choice of finals from the list below depending on the class you are taking. Unlike the rest of the quarter where you can help each other, you are not to talk with other students. Ask me your questions. I cannot help you with the features, but I can explain a question if you don't understand what it is asking.
Points

10 points of final grade = concentrating on final and not disturbing others. In other words, no talking -- let everyone concentrate. |

10 points of final grade = clean up in your area and classroom (no trash, books put away). |
|
100 points of final grade = score on test. |
Rules for final

This is your own work. You cannot use anyone else except me to answer your questions.

You cannot sit next to anyone taking the same final.

You CAN use the book, the applications on your computer, and online help to find answers to your question.

You CAN use music with headphones.
I personally don’t like the true false/multiple choice/completion, especially the ones below because I think they have you remember too much and look up details which aren't important to me. I prefer projects because I feel more comfortable creating documents and doing the actual work. The grades have been generally about 10-15% lower on the online finals. However, based on your feedback last week, I'm giving you the option of which final you want to take

For the project tests, click the link to open up the file. Save your documents in 3 places – make sure one is on My Documents. Create a folder in your class folder called Final. Save the document name with your class information, 0 for the chapter, and whatever the name is on the file. Print it out. Put your name on it. Checkmark each item you complete. Put it in the box when you are done. Note: I grade on getting the number of items that are correct and complete. |

For the online tests, click on the link to open up the final. Answer the questions and click submit when you are finished. |

If you finish early, make sure you stay quiet. You may play one of the games on the Start menu of the computer. Do not go to an online game site because of possible viruses and slowing down our Internet. If you need to study for another test, you may do that too. I will turn on the music 5 minutes before class ends as usual to remind you to save your work and clean up your area and the classroom.
